MIAMI, FLORIDA (April 6, 2016) – Miami Jewish Health Systems Foundation will host its annual gala “A Night in Monte Carlo”, on Saturday, April 16, 2016, with cocktail at 7:00PM, dinner and dancing at 8:00PM, and Monte-Carlo style gaming at 9:00PM at The Biltmore in Coral Gables, Florida. All proceeds raised will directly benefit the Miami Jewish EmpathiCare™ Village prototype and the work of Dr. Marc Agronin. The evening will begin at 7:00PM in the Courtyard with an open bar cocktail reception, followed by dinner and dancing in the Country Club Ballroom. Casino-style gaming will be held on the Country Club Terrace.
Miami Jewish Health Systems Foundation is honored to have celebrity Sarah Rafferty serve as the gala’s emcee. In addition to her acting role as character “Donna” on USA network’s hit show “Suits”, Ms. Rafferty is an ambassador for Alzheimer’s Association and consistently speaks on Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive impairment.
Leading the way in Alzheimer’s care and research is Miami Jewish Health Systems’ one-of-a-kind Memory Center. Marc Agronin, M.D., a board-certified geriatric psychiatrist, nationally known expert in Alzheimer’s disease, and author of the most recent best-seller “The Dementia Caregiver”, leads the Memory Center with his team specializing in the treatment of memory disorders, such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and cognitive impairment.
