MIAMI – April 20, 2015 – Miami Jewish Health Systems, one of the largest providers of healthcare for seniors in the Southeast, recently hired Louise Moffett as the new Director of Nursing.
In her new role, Ms. Moffett’s major responsibilities will include daily oversight of the nursing department; caring for more than 400 residents, families and caregivers each day.
Ms. Moffett, who will report directly to Nursing Home Administrator Sacasha Brown, will supervise the nursing staff and oversee patient care as well as be in charged with key administrative functions such as record keeping and budgeting.
“We are confident that Louise’s collaborative management style and experience will be instrumental in us implementing the processes and systems that will help our nursing team provide excellent care and service each day,” said Ms. Brown.
This is a welcome return for Ms. Moffett who previously held the role of Director of Nursing as well as Assistant Director of Nursing for Miami Jewish Health Systems from 1999 to 2010. In the interim, Ms. Moffett worked at the Broward Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and IntegriGuard, LLC.
Ms. Moffett is a registered nurse, having graduated from Broward Community College, and holds a certificate in Advanced Cardiac Life Support; she is also a member of the Florida Association Directors of Nursing Administration and the Geriatric Nursing Association of Broward County.
