MIAMI – February 18, 2014 – Miami Jewish Health Systems has recently promoted Jackelyn “Jackie” Perera to Director of Revenue. Ms. Perera brings more than 30 years of revenue management experience in the healthcare industry to the position, and will be responsible for Miami Jewish Health Systems claims, billing and collections.
“We are delighted to see Ms. Perera take on a more prominent role in her career,” said Jack Kelleher, Vice President and CFO of Miami Jewish Health Systems. “Jackie’s extensive experience with patient financial services makes her the ideal candidate for this position and will surely benefit our overall goals.”
In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Ms. Perera will also manage claims and adjudication of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
Jackelyn Perera joined Miami Jewish Health Systems in 2013 as Manager of Revenue Application and Analysis. Prior to that, Ms. Perera worked at Miami Children’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital.
