Miami Jewish Health Systems Appoints Elisa R. Hernandez, SPHR as Vice President of Human Resources

MIAMI – June 5, 2014 – Miami Jewish Health Systems® recently appointed Ms. Elisa R. Hernandez to Vice President of Human Resources. Ms. Hernandez brings more than 20 years of experience in personnel development and strategic recruitment, in both mid-to- large-scale corporations.

In her new role, Ms. Hernandez will be responsible for Miami Jewish Health Systems talent recruitment, staff training and development. Ms. Hernandez will also manage employee compensation, benefit administration and HR information systems.

Ms. Hernandez will report directly to Miami Jewish Health Systems President and CEO, and will play an integral role on the organization’s Executive Leadership team.

Prior to joining Miami Jewish Health Systems, Elisa was Vice-President, Human Resources and Payroll at Sunrise Sports & Entertainment. Before that, Ms. Hernandez held the position of Vice-President, Human Resources and Organizational Development for Hospital Physician Partners.

Elisa received her Bachelor of Science in Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University and has been a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources since 2002.
